Good friends, brothers, sisters, and supporters. This weekend at Cross City Correctional, the service was awesome. I finished speaking on Christ on trial and going on the Cross. four brothers gave their lives to the Lord. That’s nine men in two weeks. The Chaplain wants to start a discipleship class. The ministry’s goal is to build a Christian community within the prison system. Then, at my home, a brother called me and said he wanted to talk, so we met up, and he said that in church a message was preached that touched his heart to serve in the ministry. He asked, “Tracee, is there anything I can do to support this ministry?” I begin to share my heart with him, and he said, “I’m in, with whatever I can do.” So, brothers and Sisters and supporters, come, roll up your sleeves and get in the Lord’s work. Regardless of me, remember that the harvest is plentiful, but the laborers are few. I just had new cards printed for the ministry. I’ll get one out to you all. I’LL send a picture. This week, I’ll become a non-profit 501(c)(3), so you can donate to help cover gas and books, and I want to get the projector fixed at Cross City so the guys can watch sermons and movies. ALSO, I’ll be looking for committed board members (pray about it).

I grew up with Tracee in West Philadelphia. Although you didn’t always see God’s hand on Tracee’s life, it became more apparent in our twenties. We attended the same church and became very active in ministries. Tracee’s gift in explaining God’s word was evident. Through life’s experiences Tracee has learned how to reach people in places where they are. His life experiences makes him relatable to all.
I am proud to call Minister Carter my friend and brother.
